The White Russians was a confederation faithful to Czar Nicolas II. They fought the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War. This is one of their regimental flags.
They opposed the Red of the Communists with the White of Imperial Russia, and showed their opposition to the godless Reds by displaying the figure of Christ on their banners.

The Military Regimental Flags of Slavic Montenegro in WW1 also had Jesus on the back side. The Soviet Military Regimental replaced Jesus with Lennon. I know there is also a "Baby Lennon" Soviet pin insignia. I wonder if the concept of Baby Lennon also replaced Baby Jesus. If you misbehave in some cultures it makes Baby Jesus cry.... Maybe misbehaving in Soviet childhood would make Baby Lennon cry?
